While State and Local League Chapters must follow certain rules and guidelines, the reality is that the energy level and talents of local volunteer leadership largely determine what and how much gets done by any Chapter. Individuals considering volunteering or donating should understand that each local League Chapter is distinct and look at the virtues of a particular one when considering options to support or volunteer. The Lehigh County League provides voting information for community events as well as through food banks and Meals on Wheels. They are also a coalition partner in a push for redistricting reform. Their newest campaign, Voting Is Your Superpower, focuses on people less likely to vote and works to build greater understanding of the importance and value of voting.
