In addition to the groups listed below, several of our other Wisconsin pages also incorporate some state chapters of national organizations. These include our Wisconsin pages for Women, for Underrepresented Groups, and for Students and Youth Voters. Our Wisconsin pages for the League of Women Voters and Indivisible include chapters of those organizations within Wisconsin.
A campaign of The Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, All Voting Is Local involves eight states, including Wisconsin. The Wisconsin effort focuses on reducing barriers to voting created by one of the nation’s most stringent – and complex – voter ID laws. Wisconsin’s law keeps voters of color and low-income people from voting. Likewise, people with a felony conviction can’t get their right to vote restored until after they’ve completed parole, probation or extended supervision.

Common Cause Wisconsin campaigns against gerrymandering, for election protection, and for access to voting. They also advocate for democracy issues related to legal and constitutional conflicts as well as to money and undue influence. Their “Take Action” page walks voters through a several step process to lobby the Wisconsin legislature on behalf of a fair redistricting process and then invites volunteer engagement.
